Nature, History, and Local Trails

Hayes Farm is located in a lovely woodland setting, ideal for outdoor activities and family exploration. Nearby, Newstead Abbey, the former home of the poet Lord Byron, dates back to the 12th-century. The local area features significant post-industrial restoration, including Newstead and Annesley Country Park. The 3.5-mile Linby Trail offers surfaced woodland paths and views over Newstead and Hucknall. Nottingham is accessible via a 20-minute train journey from Newstead Station.
