Welcome to the Sheffield DA Junior Youth Section (CCJ)!

If you have a child under 12 then Sheffield DA is a great place to be. Our Junior Youth leaders are fellow parents and work hard to make camping fun for our little ones.. and it’s absolutely free!

At Sheffield DA, our Junior Youth Section is all about fun, friendship, and the great outdoors. If you're 11 or under, you're already part of the crew! From age 8, juniors can pitch up in our special CCJ camping area—and when they hit 12, they step up to our Youth Section (CCY) for even more exciting challenges.

What’s on the calendar? Plenty!

We pack the year with brilliant events that bring families and friends together, including:

• A festive trip to the panto 🎭

• Egg hunts and Easter Bunny fun 🐰

• Sports day antics over May Day weekend 🏅

• Spooky trick-or-treating and a crackling bonfire night 🎃🔥

• Weekend games, laughs, and meetups year-round 🎲

When our young adventurers turn 8, they can take on the Junior Youth Test—a fun, hands-on way to learn camping essentials like pitching a tent, following the Country Code, and staying safe in the great outdoors.

All CCJ activities are run with a responsible adult by their side, keeping things safe, relaxed, and full of joy for everyone.
