Sheffield DA – 2026 Fixtures Announcement!

After the success and positive feedback from Sherwood Forest Holiday Park last year, we’re delighted to return to this full-facility site from 20th–22nd March to kick off our 2026 season!

Next, we head north into West Yorkshire on 27th–29th March to a brand-new site at West Haddlesey, perfectly placed on the banks of the River Aire and the Selby Canal — ideal for walking and cycling.

Easter brings our traditional Hutton-le-Hole meet, packed with family fun and festive activities. Then it’s on to Marton & Gate Burton, and then Ashover for the Sheffield DA AGM, before joining the Parwich villagers celebrating the patron saint for St George’s weekend.

Our May Day weekend at Osmaston Polo Ground promises another great programme of family activities — usually our biggest meet of the year!

Then we return to Kniveton (15th–17th May) before heading south for Spring Bank Holiday to a new THS site at Offenham Touring Park in the beautiful Vale of Evesham: perfect for exploring the delights of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire - including quirky competitive cheese rolling and shin-kicking competitions!

In June, we’re back on familiar Peak District territory (5th–7th June) to enjoy the stunning panoramas of Dowall Hall Farm, Glutton Bridge, followed by a return to Parsley Hay (12th - 14th), so don’t forget your bikes for the Tissington and High Peak Trails!

Mid-June brings Crich (19th–21st), with its Tramway Village, War Memorial and scenic walks.

After a short break for the Region Meet, we launch into our summer THS programme:
Darley Dale THS – 3rd–19th July
Criccieth THS, North Wales – 23rd July–9th August, “The Pearl of Wales,” offering a spectacular mix of mountains, coastlines and castles.

Late summer sees us back at Hognaston (27th–31st August) for the Bank Holiday, followed by Tansley, which is a little later than usual this year. Next up it’s Shepley (11th–13th September), folowed by Thorpe, Lees Farm Meadow, and another new site for 2026 – Lakeside Meadows, Ednaston (9th–11th October).

We wrap up the season with our Photographic Competition at Ashford-in-the-Water (16th–18th October) and our ever-popular Bonfire & Halloween weekend at Torksey Scout Camp (23rd–25th October)

A massive thanks once again to Rob, your Sites Secretary, for another fantastic line-up for 2026!

Make sure to mark your calendars for Offenham (Spring Bank), Darley Dale, and Criccieth – they’re not to be missed!
