About the Event
Tansley is ideally located on the edge of the Peak District for popular tourist locations. Heading down the Derwent Valley just a couple of miles finds Matlock, a significant administrative centre for Derbyshire.  The heritage steam railway, Peak Rail, leaves from Matlock station heading to Rowsley.  The attractive Lumsdale Falls just outside Matlock offer photographic opportunies.  Continuing along the A6 we find the popular market town of Bakewell and of course a visit would not be complete without a visit to the jewell of the Peaks, Chatsworth House, resplendent and shimmering in it's restored gold leaf exterior.
From Matlock tk A615 Alfreton Rd, / Nottm Rd, tk left fork B6014 to Red Hill. Tk L turn into Knabhall Lane, Site on Left after approx. 0.5m  Start: 15:00.  Cost: £8.00 per unit night.   MR 119/331604  What3Words: ///edits.groups.misty
