Shepley

Wonderful West Yorkshire

About

Shepley village is mentioned in the Domesday book, 1086, although there is evidence of settlement prior to this date.  The village industry was primarily farming, developing into wool from the 14th Century.  Since 1996 Shepley has established a major natural spring water bottling operation, Shelpey Spring.
