Kniveton is an attractive small village offering church and pub in typical Derbyshire fashion, the former dating to the 13thCentury.  Named as Cheniveton in the Domesday Book, the manor belonged to the Kniveton family until 1660.

Kniveton is an ideal base to explore the southern Derbyshire Dales, within easy reach of Tissington, Dovedale and the Manifold Valley.  Equally, Carsington Water is just 3 miles away offering cycle hire, walking, a visitor centre and watersports.


Kniveton is situated just 3 miles above Ashbourne on the B5035.
